Diarmuid Gavin's “The Garden of Pure Imagination”
In May this year Daniel had the pleasure or working with internationally renowned landscape gardener Diarmuid Gavin and his spectacular installation “The Garden of Pure Imagination” Inspired by the Willy Wonka film featuring Gene Wilder and the performing Guiness Clock created for the 1951 Festival of Britain. Every 15 minutes, flowerbeds would rise from the ground, trees would begin to twirl and a wooden shed would come to life full of cogs and gardening tools at the Dundrum Shopping Centre in Dublin. Diarmuid requested a bespoke piece of music to help enhance the magical experience of the garden which was played each time the garden was activated.
